1. (ii). A navigational Lock is already in operation at Farakka under the control of Farakka Barrage Project (FBP) since 1987.

In this regard, it was agreed to convene a series of Secretary level meetings on the issues of Counter-Terrorism (including progress on Mumbai trial) and Narcotics Control; Humanitarian issues; Commercial & Economic cooperation; Tulbul Navigation Project/Wullar Barrage; Sir Creek (at the level of Surveyor General/Additional Secretary) ; Siachen; Peace & Security including CBMs; Jammu & Kashmir; and promotion of friendly exchanges.

इस संबंध में आतंकवाद का मुकाबला (मुंबई आतंकी हमलों के मुकदमें में हुई प्रगति सहित) एवं स्वापक नियंत्रण; मानवीय मुद्दों; व्यावसायिक एवं आर्थिक सहयोग; तुलबुल नौवहन परियोजना/वुलर बैराज; सरक्रीक (महा सर्वेक्षक/अपर सचिव स्तर पर); सियाचिन; विश्वासोत्पादक उपायों सहित शांति एवं सुरक्षा; जम्मू एवं कश्मीर; मैत्रीपूर्ण आदान-प्रदानों को बढ़ावा जैसे मुद्दों पर अनेक सचिव स्तरीय बैठकों का आयोजन करने पर सहमति बनी।
